The Merging of SHEroes & SHEnanigans

Well...welcome, so glad you have found our WILD side! Yes, at ALT-University we have one. We may be SHADOW WARRIORS but we are also LIGHT WORKERS and we KNOW how to PLAY! At ALT-U we believe that the light one is able to RADIATE, directly mirrors the darkness one is willing to HOLD. Our ALT-U teachings typically begin with us helping others' hold their own dark, because we know that going DEEP within is the only way to truly 'GET LIT’ from the inside.

We also know that taking a Personal Development through the journey of spirituality & deep reverence can often feel hard, and seem heavy, serious, slow, weighted, quiet, painful and difficult. So much so that many people do their best to avoid this journey which is jammed packed with gifts help us grow. To help avoid it we PLAY…because PLAY carries lessons too. PLAY is what INSPIRES us to DREAM, to CREATE, to SHARE, to INVITE & to JOIN. 

However, I'm not speaking of the cliche tag line, "WORK HARD, PLAY HARD!" Especially when "playing" as an adult typically means - wine or beer in hand, sarcastic arrogant wit, sexual drive, or bigger & better toys. Don't get me wrong, that can be fun. What I am speaking to is the simple, youthful, down right silly ways, from which we've lost our innocence. The days when boredom caught hold, IMAGINATION was activated, and laughter pained your belly! Can you remember the last you allowed absurdity to move you? Or do you only emerge within the societal rules of "WORK HARD, PLAY HARD?"

What I can tell you is that as the SHEroes of ALT-University, there are three things we just DON'T DO:

1. We DON’T DO WORK!
2. We DON’T DO HARD!
3. We definitely DON’T PLAY by the RULES!

We SERVE & We Serve BIG, which means...we SILLYBRATE BIGGER and allow NATURAL LAW to guide us!

So when it comes time to lighting up the dark...we are on FIRE - but in the BEST of ways!

It is in this contrast where WE REALLY SHINE! And THAT is WHY our programs are so POWERFUL!

Sure we go dark, maybe even get a bit CRAZY, but we stay INSPIRED, because we PLAY the game and SILLYBRATE the Shadow! We do this because inspiration is something that overtime, ADULT programing can chip away at. We feel trapped in our own skin with barely a spark just waiting to explode. And that spark needs air to survive. Just as a breath of AIR moves within our body between life & death, so does the spirit. The idea that living blessed by spirit (breath) is meant to be a WEIGHTED reverence, is rather ABSURD in itself, because the breath of spirit is so light. It is the body that weighs it down. The body that must surrender to #OPTIMIZEJOY within.

From this loss of absurdity is how SHEroes & SHEnanigans was birthed. It came from a deep desire to merge the concept of WISDOM with WILD. In other words, STOP playing as adult and instead PLAY as a child. To which most adults would consider to be ABSURD. Absurd defined as: ridiculous, foolish, unreasonable, wild, amusing, illogical, arousing & often inappropriate. However, should a child be a child in this way we simple consider it silly. The only societal difference between the two perceived definitions is - one is thought of as inappropriate the other as innocent.

So how does an adult return to innocence? We must purify the system. Return to a state of foolishness. Faith in the unknown. While searching for how to do this best I returned to the absurd and found silly applies. Even deeper I found that the entomology of the word SILLY  means "one blessed by spirit." So to BE SILLY is quite literally the act of being spiritually blessed! So to be absurd or silly one must be childlike in their willingness to be “wildly unreasonable,”…aka – have “faith in the unknown.”

It is here in this willingness to allow SILLY to activate us, that we awaken to many additional lessons we may otherwise not receive. Lessons of authentic freedom, acceptance, courage, vulnerability, & humility. When we allow room for these principles to expand within us, we find another level of our own humanity emerge that opens a new window for wisdom.

Now please no, I am not speaking of using silly to spiritually bypassing either.  (Bypassing: the unwillingness to confront the dark & by using affirmations to fake happiness in hopes that things change). I'm speaking of true JOY. The willingness to let silly shine so bright that the you become unfuckablewith when transmuting the dark.

It's like playing in the right hemisphere of your mind to INSPIRE your DREAMS, & then #OPTIMIZEJOY while manifesting them. Tell me...How wild can your imagination go? How well can you live without lines? How unreasonable can you become? How BOLD can you get in your Self-expression? How authentic can you be alone…or in a crowd? How safe do you feel when exposed? How vulnerable are you willing to feel to truly know what bravery feels like? How silly will you allow yourself to be? How much FAITH do you have in the UNKNOWN?

These questions are WHERE & HOW we PLAY!

Sure we SHEroes share the wisdom we gather through our tips, tricks, and tutorials. And we certainly hold a deep reverence for the depth of the dark, because we know that exploring the Shadow aspect of ourselves is a necessary part of life. Especially when wanting to #OPTIMIZEJOY. But just as we are willing to explore those deeper parts within, we also aren't afraid to set down societal programming and PLAY the game a little differently in the LIGHT. That is why we embrace the SHEnanigans as well. To remind us to stay childlike & innocent on our path of exploring this vast & beautiful world.

Merging the concepts of SHEroes & SHEnanigans is what we practice when looking to #OPTIMIZEJOY. We dance, we play, we sing (even off tune), simply because it breeds INSPIRATION, and the best experiences, like a great GIFT, are always spirit lead from our willingness to PLAYFULLY have faith in the unknown.

So, as you journey through our vlogs, may our silliness evoke another levels of awakening within you, and perhaps one day you'll join us in transmuting the societal programming and instead #OPTIMIZEJOY!
